We discovered North 48 Builders about one year ago and have utilized Cal and Kurt for about four projects at our Rainy Lake home. Often with contractors, communication is the largest and most frustrating issue. With North 48 Builders, that has never been an issue and have found the absolute opposite. Cal and Kurt make a commitment to their customers. Not only do they communicate often and thoroughly, they provide several means with which to communicate. We have found them to be professional, thorough, and timely. The workmanship of their craft is top-notch and they're not done with the project until it is completed to their customer's satisfaction. Other testimonials here touch upon many things that we enthusiastically echo; from design execution to finishing expertise…these guys are good! Ours was a complex project, a new cabin constructed and connected to the original cabin by a 3 ½ story tower. It included elements such as a bridge across the vaulted ceiling to the tower and a second floor deck, along with the use of reclaimed tin siding on the tower and re-claimed barn wood in the tower. Adding to that it was a remote site so a lot of pontoon and barge involvement in addition to work being done across the ice in the winter. With us being 275 miles away during most of the construction process we had to totally put our trust in Kurt and Cal on every level and that trust was well earned. They always gave us solid recommendations to base our decisions on and when we weren’t available to discuss smaller details, they always came up with great solutions on their own. You can be completely comfortable with them on your job. We ended up with a stunning result, our dreams & vision made real by North 48. We would, without hesitation, very highly recommend them for any project you are lucky enough to get them to take on!

North 48 Builders did an amazing job installing three large windows in our home.  They were very friendly and respectful, and communication with them was extremely quick. North 48 Builders were very efficient with their time working and were very well planned out.  The job was done in a timely manner, the siding was all put back properly and the windows and trim work look phenomenal.  Our house inside and out was very clean and tidy when North 48 Builders were finished.  We are extremely happy with the work North 48 Builders did on our house and would highly recommend North 48 Builders to anyone.
